141 Teams Apply for KICTANet Policy Hackathon: First-Round Results Announced Across 3 Digital Safety Themes

We want to thank all 141 organizations that submitted their applications for the policy hackathon. We received incredible submissions from 43 counties, and we thank all the teams for dedicating the time, effort, and resources to prepare their submissions.
We are happy to announce the results of the first round of the policy hackathon, as shown below:

If your organization is not on the list, we encourage you to stay involved; there will be other opportunities in the future.
For the organizations listed above, they will now proceed to the second stage, at which the final contestants for the policy hackathon will be selected. At that stage, the top three teams in each category will be selected and will proceed to compete at the policy hackathon in Mombasa on 12th September 2025.
We shall communicate the finalist by 10th September 2025.
